Besides my work for Gebrouwen door Vrouwen, I also make free work such as this birthday calendar. Here, I can give my own style a completely free hand. Especially for the eighth anniversary of Gebrouwen door Vrouwen, we made this combo of my favo beers and my birthday calendar. Cheers!

"Already since 2017, I have been working with Gebrouwen door Vrouwen on the development of their labels and I enjoy drawing the illustrations that decorate the bottles and cans. Because we have been working together for 6 years - during which there has been scanning, mistakes have been made, successes have been celebrated; from DIY to AH shelves - we are well attuned to each other and together we are creating an ever-expanding Brewed by Women Universe.
It remains fun to come across your own illustrations on the terrace or in the supermarket!"
Working method new label
"When a new beer is on the launch agenda, Do, Tessel and I get together and initially discuss what the beer is going to be. Think about flavours, aromas, associations. Where do you drink it? Who drinks it? What feeling should it evoke? Sometimes there is already a title, sometimes not. Using this information, I then suggest some concepts, in the form of mood boards, to translate into an illustration.
I then work out a chosen concept in sketch form, where we check together whether it's going in the right direction. Sometimes things can still change then. But the longer you work together, the better you sense what fits into the 'story' and more and more often it's a hit."
